Okay--not a hub pages related question, but I need help with Excel

   I use the old Office 2K version of MS Excel, and it's giving me fits.
   
   I need to create a sign-in sheet for an event, and I canNOT make the damned thing print out a page that I set up with columns and rows, neatly lined for folks to write upon.
   
   Surely, there MUST be a way to force it to print out the entire blank form, instead of the single row dead off in the middle of an otherwise blank page??!!
   
   I need it to print out all of the lines for each row, and the column dividing lines, but without anything filled in to any of the cells.
   
   HELP!  Is this even doable?

      Hi, I would recommend adding borders to your cells on the excel sheet...but hey - looks like it already worked for you!!!

   I think I may understand what you are saying. You see the boxes on the screen but they don't show up when you print? If this is the case, you will need to go to each cell and left click it to add borders which create the boxes?

   Yes, to print out empty cells, you need to give them borders. Highlight the entire area you want to print. Look up to the toolbar for the border button (it probably looks like a square divided into four). Click on the drop-down arrow and the border options will come up. Look for the one as described above - a sort of window pane effect.
   
   Another trick is to go to the very last cell that you want to print and place a period in it... like this

   There use to be a way to set the Print Range.  You highlight the cells you want printed and then when you go to print it only prints that range.
   
   The other way is to select all the cells you need printed and the on the printer options screen select the option to Print Selection instead of printing a page.

      I tried that first; print selection gave me a blank page with only the headers and footers, and a single set of cells in the exact geographic center of the page!
      
      HOWever, I did try the 'borders' option, and that did work!  YAY!  So, I now have my sign-in sheets.  Thank you so very much, Bev!!

   The easier way to make a form for people to fill out is to use a table in Word.

         The trick with tables in Word is to change your settings so that it shows all the non-printing marks. Then you can see exactly what's happening.

   If you still need help with this, just message me what kind of sheet you need (the particulars of what you are needing).  I believe I can make you one pretty quick  
   
   Then you can just save it and write over it if you need to make a different one.
