I have watched with keen interest how some articles on HubPages that were moved to vertical sites are more than doubling the number of visitors other articles on the vertical sites are getting. Take a look at the image below, if the one still on HubPages is eventually moved to one of the niches sites (Toughnickel), it will move the other two articles already on niche sites up in the SERP.

Agreed, the niche sites greatly help. I recall hearing Google favors specific-topic sites over general-topic ones, which is a big reason why niche sites see more traffic.

I'm not sure what you're getting at.

ALL the articles on the niche sites were originally from HubPages.com.   That is how it works.

I understand it's confusing, but he's noting that one article being moved seemingly affected another. I'm not sure if that's true, or if there's another cause, but it's an interesting point nonetheless.

Take a look at the two images below, you'll see how an article that was moved to a niche site boosted the ranking of another article on the niche site. Formerly, the article on the niche site was ranked #4 (Image#1). But when the one on HubPages was moved to same niche site, it ranked #1, and the one that was ranked #4 moved to #2 position (Image #2).

Hm, that's interesting. One thing seems certain, the niche sites are a success.
