This is my article. I edited this .

This edited version was asked to be proof read and edit only. I did.
I received the below feedback. I changed and removed some links that maybe spammy.

Still I am receiving the same feedback after completing the feedback. How do I pass this?

    Needs Improvement:
This article is unpublished because it did not receive high enough ratings to meet HubPages' quality standards or because it contains spammy elements. It will remain unpublished until it is edited, published again, and rated high enough to be Featured. To see our rating criteria, please visit our official rating scale (we recommend shooting for criteria matching articles rated eight or above).

(In this discussion I cannot see any photo of text you have attached)
How many words does it have? Is it written half in English and half in another language? I got that when I've made a discography article and the song's titles where all in Chinese.
If you write at least 500 words and add 3 photos you'll not have that message comes out so easily...
Sometimes it's just a matter of time, articles may be checked by the staff themselves and you'll need 1 or 2 days to get rid of the error message after you've fixed your article.
Make a test, cut away all the links and save them on your computer. Save the article, wait a while and then check if you still have that message.
It may be a wrong link to one of your links. For instance I had a broken link and changed it with another link. I did it in the text box only, without changing the physical link and still I had the broken link alert.
Little things may ruin your article, you have to be very careful and picky wink I hope it helps a bit, else I'll think of something else...

Hi Rachel, please include the link to the hub that was in your email. If we cannot look at it there is no way we can help.

While I'm sure your English is good enough for day-to-day use, I'm afraid it's not of a high enough standard to write on HubPages. There are many features of Indian English which are different from American English, and that is what HubPages requires.  Your sentence structure sounds very odd to American or British ears.  Unless you can get a fluent English speaker to edit it for you, I doubt you could get the article up to the required standard.

Thank you. I'll appreciate if you will understand that Hub page is more than English.  I can reduce complexity in my sentence structures.

I'm afraid your reply illustrates what I just said.  I'm not sure what you mean.

An American would not say, "I'll appreciate if...".   He would say, "I'd appreciate it if ..."

"that Hub page is more than English."   Indians tend to omit the definite and indefinite articles ("the" and "a") where an American or British person would use them.  So I'm assuming you mean "that A Hub..." not "that Hub...", but I don't understand the rest of the sentence anyway.

Thank you for the American English.

You need to make similar changes all the way through your Hub, and I am not convinced you will recognise where those changes need to be made.

I think I can proof read my article for grammar. However, I like to remind you that this is already a featured article. Please try to provide more polite and encouraging replies. When I stated that a hub page is more than English, content weightage is equally important. I will appreciate you for the encouragement as you are a more experienced hubber.

You told us in your original post that the article has been unpublished. So it can't be featured. Marisa has explained exactly why in a polite and respectful manner. I took a look, and she is right, there are many grammatical errors. Even the title is incorrect. HubPages requires that articles are written to a high standard of English, so that's what you need to improve.

There's no point getting arsey with reviewers when you asked for help in the first instance. If you don't like our suggestions, you are perfectly free to ignore them.

Remember, even if your hub is featured, unless it is approved for a niche site, it won't do very well.

There's no such word as 'weightage', by the way. The correct phrase is, 'content is as equally important'.

            smile

Edit: You also might wish to consider whether you need all those links. Many aren't necessary.

My hub was not unpublished.  I spotted errors and started reworking. If I had ignored then she may not have given me the reply I wanted : what the errors are? I only insisted on not using the word Indian...This is because I know English is not my mother tongue. Many will weigh in your comments for jobs I can secure in foreign investments in India...I communicate better than many...

Your Hub is "unfeatured", not unpublished.  That means it has been labelled "no follow" because HubPages has judged it poor quality, and therefore it has decided to hide the Hub from the search engines.  The "no follow' tag tells the search engines to ignore the Hub.

If you are capable of proof-reading your Hub for grammar, why are there so many mistakes?

I'm afraid you're wrong about "weightage".   It doesn't matter how significant or worthwhile your content is on HubPages - if your English is not good enough, they will never approve it.

It is very, very hard to be a writer in a language which is not your mother tongue.   I studied French for twelve years and worked in France for a time, but I would not dream of trying to write an article for a French publication.  Writing requires a far higher standard than daily life.

The only way I could be encouraging is to tell you lies, and I think that in the long run, that is far more unkind than being honest.

What? Are you trying to work on your article or convince us of something else?

The OP quoted from a HubPage email:

    "Needs Improvement:
This article is unpublished because it did not receive high enough ratings to meet HubPages' quality standards or because it contains spammy elements. It will remain unpublished until it is edited, published again, and rated high enough to be Featured. To see our rating criteria, please visit our official rating scale (we recommend shooting for criteria matching articles rated eight or above)."

    It clearly states 'unpublished'.

We cannot fix all your errors -- what's the point of that? You wouldn't learn how to do it yourself. If it were just one or two, then that would be okay, but they are right through the article. And on your profile.

We are always happy to help people who are willing to learn and make the necessary changes, but it really pisses us off when new hubbers believe they know better.

I understand that, in India, your English is probably considered to be excellent. But you have to realise that HubPages publishes for an English-speaking readership, and therefore requires a high standard. I have noticed that sub-standard (language-wise) articles do get accepted and featured, but they rarely make it to the niche/vertical sites. So if you are here to earn some money, you'll have to work on your written English.

Start by writing in shorter sentences. Make sure you use the definite and indefinite article properly, and delete unnecessary words. Clear and simple is better than long, complex and wordy.

Here's the fix for your title:

A Brief History of Madurai, The Temple City - From Christianity Perspective

A Brief History of Madurai, The Temple City - From a Christian Perspective

    Hope that helps.
