Does it matter to you what people think of you?

Life is strange.  If you are  good looking people will talk about you, if you are not they will,  if you are good to them, they’ll talk about you, if you ae not they will.  Does it matter to you?

Not really, especially if this is just random people that obviously have no interest in getting to know me.

Ultimately, no. I think we can use other people's opinions to gauge our actions at times, but really that's all they're useful for. If I'm happy with myself, that's all that matters.

No, it doesn't matters what people think of me. I just do whatever I feel like. I live my life !

Most people will say "no".  In reality, most of us crave acceptance from others.  While we protest otherwise, many of us long to be looked at positively by others.  If we acknowledge that these feelings are real, then we can consciously let go of them.

Yes, It matters to me what people think of me if they are people who are close to me. Otherwise I don't care. But I try living the type of life where nobody points a finger at me in anyway.

in a way, i think yes it does matter.  but whether you'll let it affect you, that's another story.  whatever people think about you, there is always a choice... you have a choice...

The only people who you should be concerned about  is family and true friends.  Of course you should care what people think of you, however, the relationship with the person is what really matters.  Adults should not be looking left to right to see what others are thinking unless a relationship exists.  Some people never grow out of their teen years and stay focused on what others think.  It does not matter what others think because you can not control their thoughts.  The only thing that you can control is your reaction on what is said about you.  Remember to be self-controlled and only think about what people think who you truly care about.

No matter who you are, and no matter what you do there will always be people liking or disliking you. While it may affect you to some extent (depending on who thinks what), it shouldn't matter so much as to ruin your peace of mind. As long as you like and love who you are and those dear to you do too, other's opinion shouldn't matter.

I cannot remember..for the first 24 years of my life, only the opinion of my parents mattered...or really I was doing everything that they would have wanted me to do...
My answer...yes to a certain extent...

My mother used to say, "You wouldn't care about what people thought of you if you realized how little they do."
