   I have high blood pressure and I think I'm pregnant, what do you think are the risk's?
   
   I'm 27 years old, I have kids and I think I'm pregnant. Like 5 month's ago my doctor told me not to get pregnant because there could be alot of problems during the pregnancy.

   There's chronic high blood pressure, and then there's high blood pressure that occurs during the pressure.  They're two different things.  In general, women with chronic high blood pressure (the kind you have before and/or in early pregnancy) have their pregnancies monitored a little more closely.

   Of course, if your doctor knows your medical condition and has reason to think your high blood pressure is more than can be managed during a pregnancy, that's another thing.  You know, I'm sure, that you should contact your doctor (or at least some doctor) immediately.  One issue may be risks of any medication you're taking on a developing embryo/fetus.

   If you are already pregnant I would see a High Risk pregnancy OB. This doctor specializes in prenatal care of high risk patients like yourself. Prayerfully, a HROB can keep it under control without negative effects on you and your baby. Make sure you seek help NOW, the earlier the intervention, the better.
   And dabeaner, why must you be so negative and hateful in your answers to people? Intelligent conversation goes a long way! Abusive rhetoric is just nasty and unnecessary.
