When will the recession end?
The pesent economic downtun seems to heno end in view
They're already saying that it is slowly beginning to come to a close. If inflation doesn't skyrocket over the next couple of years I think we'll be out of the woods.
It will end eventually, but it would end a helluva lot faster (and have a better outcome overall) if the government stopped meddling in economic affairs. They're tossing our money around like confetti and printing it like it's going out of style.
Well I have been working in finance for years and can tell you that there is nothing we can compare to our current economic situation in order to come up with an answer to that question.
Watching and listening you can see that we are continuing to create debt for this country and the longer that goes on the longer this problem will last.
If we run our households the same way the government is running our country we would all be in trouble; I think we are going to see a small improvement within the next 2 years but then things will drop again.
Something to ponder: If you have a large hole in your front yard would you fix it by jumping in with a shovel and making it bigger? This is what our government is doing-you don't fix it by making it bigger...seriously!
There are respected economists that believe that the economic downturn has bottomed or is in the process of bottoming. This fits the technical definition of a recession end, so their answer might be: now.
This is not to say that the economy is in good shape, or that employment has recovered, or that economic growth has recovered. Those millions of people who have lost homes or jobs will tell you, rightly, that the economy still feels like it is in recession.
Recent economic statistics, though, point to a light at the end of the tunnel, and it is not a train; it is slow but sure economic recovery.
For iykjude, I am a Christian, accepted Christ more than twenty years ago and have walked with Him since. Your theory is right partially, as sins into our world through Adam brought about much pain. Overall, sins are risponsible for where the world is right now, it is greed and mismanagement which brings about this recession. However, if the world finally comes out of recession fully by 2010, which it already started to do anyway, would it have meant that all humanity have turn to God? Every ups and down cannot be labelled as a direct punishment by God for evil or else all of humanity is suffering for the wrongs of a few. Christ will come finally and usher in a new era, but not because all humans would have commit to Him. Until then we will have times of plenty and times of nothing, times to eat the fatted calf and a time when there will be none.

With the way things are playing out in the U.S.'s economic state, almost every American citizen is giving up the faith in the federal government. The truth of the matter is, personally, I don't know what kind of country we are anymore. The reason for this personal belief of mine is that we have...

Do you believe the sovereignty of the United States is being eroded - diminished?I see my beloved country, the United States, eroding and being diminished. What disgusts me the most is that some of our own people are deeply involved in doing this. Can we come back from this? I'm not so sure. Why is...
