Have you ever dreamed about flying/floating?

I have dreamed this one dream over and over again my whole life about me being able to just close my eyes, think hard, and just take a jump and start flying. I cannot go too high, but I make sure to always surround myself with friends and family so they can see my amazing powers! Everything in the dream is the same except the location. Very weird! And my mom dreams the same thing!

I used to dream about it flying all the time. The first flying dream I had was when I was still in grade school. I dreamed about running in a circle, and by concentrating really hard, I could fly/float/run on air. Over the next 4 or 5 years, I had more control and it required less concentration to stay in the air. Eventually, I could fly up to the tops of the skyscrapers and could make reasonably sharp turns at... I don't know... maybe 25mph. Unfortunately, I've only had one flying dream since I was 20 or 21. Do you think your flying dreams mean anything?

Dreamed I could fly only once years ago. It was vivid and amazing and I've often secretly wished I'd dream it again, it was so good. Strange what you say about height though. I could fly to just a little over power lines, but no higher than that.

I constantly dream I'm flying, and I can control where I'm going. What's weird though is in my dream I know I'm flying, and no matter how many people are there, no one takes notice of me. The only thing that takes notice is a weird looking white wolf

i recall when i was younger i dreamed of flying quite often. i still remember how exciting it was. i actually flew pretty high. what a rush! in one flying dream the goverment? had me fly to countries that needed food, meds etc.. the items were strapped to my back and i would drop them down  where they were needed. i became well known & was quite busy. my back must have been really strong!! ( i could pick up my dreams where i left off the night before, i would just relax & & think about my previous dream before i fell asleep & it would continue on. has anyone else ever done this?)

As a child, many moons ago, YES, I dreamt very regularly of flying and sometimes even being able to breath underwater. My dreams were consistant in a particular theme/area where I was living and was raised, my southern Baptist church that I attended regularly. My dreams mostly started as I was flying into the street that the (city block wide church building took up), &  that I was able to fly into any of the multiple entry doors & fly through the many floors (5 floors or more in all), and no one was there, or if they were, they couldn't see me or I wasn't a surprise if they actually saw me. If it counts, I also dreamt that I could breathe underwater in a swimming pool that I regularly swam & played in.
I miss those dreams! (never dreamt about floating, but I always have & still "pre-dream" about places I've never been, & recognize them when I eventually get there, sometimes years later.)
Don't ask me about it, I just accept it & appreciate it.

When I dream of floating, the dream is normally trying  to send a telepathical warning of an event that is about to occur. I dreamed the earth was having several catastrophical events all taking place at the same time causing great Tsunami's. Behold, when I had awakened there was an earthquake taking place in Haiti, I called my mother and disclosed it with her. I was floating above the earth watching a bus full of elderly folks being carried away by a Tsunami and their cries and screams of help aburptly awakened me.
When I turned on the television to watch the news, it was talking about a 7.0 earthquake that had just shakened Haiti. All that morning I was waiting for them to call for an evacuation due to possible threat of a Tsunami. By the time the government issued the evacuation it was far to late. My advice to you is to keep track of your dreams in a journal and pay close attention to the details in your dreams. My only regrets about my dreams is never knowing who to contact with life saving information that comes to me in dreams.

I will not claim to have the answer, but I have a theories.

I think that dreams are partial impression from past lives.  It is possible that in a past life in a different realm that you were able to fly.

It is also possible that flying represent your aspiraitions in life.  The higher you could fly the bigger theyare.

Who knows, I just love the dreams where I could fly they represent freedom from this material life.

    Best wishes.

I have had many dreams where I was floating. The first one I remember on earth was when i was sitting on my older brothers shoulders and he floated to the top of this full sized tree. At the top, I held on to the tree and he left me there. After that dream, I floated on my own. Almost always near trees that I would float to the top of when I felt threatened or scared. When I float in these dreams, It feels exactly like swimming in water. I use my hands to push myself across the air. Almost every time im floating, it is at a moderate to slow speed, however there was one dream where I was pushing real hard and launching myself across the ground. These dreams feel so real I wake up believing that I know what it feels like to float. I believe there are more dimensions than the one we wake up to. I believe they are real and I have even seen the future in my dreams before it actually happened. There is something to be said about floating!
