   Most fakes don't bother to put a liner, and if they do its very low quality...also look at stitching.

   Honestly the best way to tell a fake Coach handbag is to write down the serial number (should be an approx 3inch by 3 inch leather label inside with the number on it) and call the Coach 1-800 customer service number found at Coach.com, give them the number to find out if it is indeed authentic. Also the hardware should say Coach on it for instance the hardware that attaches to the bag.

   You can tell a Coach is fake if you buy it from a flea market and the guy selling them offers you two for $50.

   It is hard to imagine that anyone buying a bag off a street vendor or a flea market or for $10 on an auction site could begin to imagine it is a genuine designer bag.  The price is always a dead give away, as is the lack of serial number and the quality of the hardware.  The more classic coaches don't have c-s printed all over them, they tend to be plain leather, but they all have the coach serial number inside along with quality stitiching and hardware.
