Who are the poor and uninsured who  will benefit from the healthcare reform bill?

Who are the poor and uninsured who  will benefit from the healthcare reform bill?  In the USA , immigrants come from foreign lands to the land of opportunity and freedom. They study in our schools, work hard and enjoy the fruits of their labor to attain financial independence.
What is the solution and how can society or the government solve the welfare state of our nation.

The poor and uninsured make up a diverse group of people.
There are several correlations between poverty, race, age, and education.
(statistics from latest data in 2007)
**10% of all people ages 65 and older live in poverty.
**The largest groups by ethnicity are African American (25%) and Hispanic (23%) lived in poverty
**6.5% of US war veterans live in poverty

    Possible Solutions:
    1.  Education is the best way to negate poverty.  There is a direct correlation between education level and income.  Making education available and affordable to lower income households will eventually lead them to prosperity.
    2.  Health care - rising health care costs put seniors in difficult positions (and many other people).  More regulation on insurance companies and cost controls over healthcare are essential. The HC reform that passed recently was bloated by a good first step.
    3.  End needless wars (and stop fighting them)...ex Iraq, Vietnam, etc

Jon - I believe you just asked the 64K dollar question. The idiots in Washington, over time have over promised, to the tune of 14 trillion big ones so far.

How to wean generations of entitlement babies off the free lunch needs to now be addressed by the same idiots who helped foster that attitude.  Are they capable?  We'll have to wait and see,
