That depends on the kind of back pain but you have a lot of options.
    Pain killers
    Muscles relaxants
    Hot bath with epsom salts
    massage
    heating pad
    stretching

If it's really bad I would talk to a doctor, chiropracter or pain specialist.

Back pain is one of the most common ailments, sometimes resulting in constant pain that could be unbearable.
Some home remedies for back pain that give relief are.
Always eat hot food and make sure to keep yourself warm if you have chronic back pain and include garlic in your daily diet.
Using eucalyptus or mustard oil for self massage helps in back pain.
Tea made of five cloves, five black pepper corns, and one gram of ginger powder and taken twice a day is a good remedy for back pain.
Applying ice on your back could lessen the inflammation caused by the pain. For more info and remedies you can refer: http://www.simple-remedies.com/home-rem … edies.html

There are a number of back pain relief remedies you can consider. Check out:

    1. While sleeping, try lying on your side. Place a pillow between your knees to keep your spine in a neutral position and relieve strain on your back. If you need to sleep on your back, slide a pillow under your knees.
    2. A simple ice application can still be one of the more effective, proven methods to treat back pain.
    3.  Heat therapy (such as heat wraps, hot baths, warm gel packs) can provide you pain relief.
