What would people out there REALLY like to know about the San Francisco bay area?

Whatever you are curious about, please let me know. I'd love to write some Hubs about the place I grew up (Berkeley, CA) and where I've come back to as an adult. I love it here, and want to share anything unique or useful... ask anything. I'm happy to go hunting "out there" to bring back good stories and great answers!

i am thinking about moving up there. What places are relatively cheap and low on crime? Also, if you have any knowledge about how hard it is to get a job up there. im talking fast food or restaurants, because im only 18 and dont have much experience under my belt yet.

Does Scott McKenzie still own that hippy florist shop near Telegraph Hill?

Hi Pearldiver and erickcb! Welcome to my pages. Those are both good questions. I'll have to look into Pearldiver's query, and I think I'd like to devote a whole HubPage to answering erickcb, so give me a couple days to get back to you.

The bay area is a GREAT place to live, but also expensive. If you lay some groundwork and do a little research first, it will make your move much easier. I will endeavor to give you some helpful advice to get started.

P.S. Pearldiver-- your Cat-washing Hub is HILARIOUS and terrifying. And LONG. I have to go do some work out in the "real world" now... but look forward to exploring more of your writing (that's a smart idea to copyright it at the bottom... do you have to DO anything to back that up, or is it just a phrase one can add to protect your work from theft? Hmmmm... maybe a good idea for a Hub?)

It would be fun to read about the most haunted attractions in the Bay Area. There are quite a few. Or a guide to the awesome beaches over here.
