My dad was born in San francisco ,but his mom was born in Ireland. And his dad was born in southern France. Mom was born in Norway her mom and dad born in Scotland. I was born in San Francisco. Yet, all my bros. + sisters were all born in Norway. wow!
I was born in Oakland, California and raised for the most part in Berkeley, with a year in Lexington, Massachusetts, and a year in Oxford, England. I lived in Arizona briefly as a teen, and more recently in the Dallas area of Texas. Now I'm back in the Bay Area, and don't plan on leaving. We're spoiled out here!!!

I'm pretty much a lifelong Washington state resident, mostly near Seattle. I also spent a little over a year in Wisconsin, but I was an infant at the time. And, no, it doesn't rain up here as much as most people think. It's just gray a lot, especially this time of year.
When i say im from London, people normally say "wow" or "cool" which it can be on one hand and not so cool on the other!!

I don't know how in the world to answer this question, really. Do you mean this year, last year, or tomorrow? And yet, I still couldn't give a good answer. BUT I did grow up in Ohio and all of my family roots go WAY back in Kentucky. So I guess that's how I 'll answer.
I'm a couple 100 miles from stormyweather - Portsmouth In Hampshire UK. Roughly the middle of the south coast of the UK - the warmest bit of the UK (which doesn't say much!)

Ok, I'm an oddball. I was born and raised in central Mississippi. I recently moved to north Mississippi and we just moved into our new home this week in New Albany, MS. Woooohooooo! It is in the country yet only 5 miles from town and hubby's work so it's perfect!

You DID get out of Michigan just in time. The job market there is absolutely dreadful. And I'm looking forward to going to Texas, but I will miss my little town in Georgia. We lived in Texas for almost a year in Dallas, and I loved it. The whole Texas pride thing is great.

For me, it's a toss up between New York and San Francisco. I love the older type cities built for walking, with real neighborhoods, and small open markets. I loathe places like Phoenix which are nothing but ugly highways and big box stores. Yuck. Plastic.
