How important is romance in a loving relationship - is it enough for partners to say I love you?

To say I love you costs nothing but to be romantic is what builds relatioship, romance can take many forms from words to gifts - its not the value of gifts that makes a difference its the suprises that open up the eyes of romantic lovers.

Many of us often lose this romantic touch & it is this that often can kill the word love as romance is what keeps love alive.

Love is enough but at the same time it is the romance that reminds you why you love that person.

I think both partners deserve a little romance in their lives.  It's wonderful to be told that you are loved; but, this can take on a routine, mundane tone after X number of years together.  Romance does not need to be expensive or time consuming.  Try a note in his lunch bag; a meal at her favourite restaurant for no reason; a bouquet of wildflowers picked by hand; sending the kids to your mother's for the night.

There is a wise old saying that states actions speak louder than words and this can be tested very quickly in a relationship.   When someone  says they 'love you' they need to back it up with actions to demonstrate that, otherwise it is pointless, therefore in my opinion words of love are meningless without proof.  One of the most important supports you can have in a relationship is 'emotional support'.   So cheers everyone here is to unconditional love.   http://www.needhelpwithweddings.com Aomos

sometimes the I Luv U is expressed through a loving gaze or actions as seen in Indian culture. We believe in love expressed in many ways. However, it feels good to hear an I Luv U once in a while. Combine all strategies.

Try Brahmakumaris meditation. Checkout video in orkut profile of Meenu Khandelwal, Mumbai & I'm also on www.Facebook.com/khandelwal.meenu

Being romantic is being thoughtful, taking the time to do something as simple as writing a poem for a loved one can, and should, mean the world to them.

Romance is a great thing to have but not always will be great sometimes saying I love you is not enough for me saying I love you is easy but one must prove of the love they have for their other partner.

Yes, it is not enough. The best thing is to cater all his/her needs until the day you die (for married couple).

What is the use of being together when you limit your care to your partner? Why divorce when you decided to live your life with your chosen partner?

One must be humble and accept all the kind of personality he/she has.

Work it till the day you die. That is true romance.
