i have the ability to heal people with my touch. i wanted to know if i was going against god by...
using it? i think if god wanted them to be healed he would do it. HELP PLEASE advise needed
A little more elaboration of your skills might have been helpful i.e. exactly which diseases can you heal & which damages have you already healed miraculously?
Anyways, if its true that you have the ability to heal someone mentally or physically or both, then remember its a Great gift. And with such Great Gifts...Comes great responsibilities. It would be a sin if you dont use such gift & waste it for nothing. Using such abilities wont lead you against God but will definitely help you to understand him more. You dont have to listen to everyone, you dont have to care for what religious fundamentalists say...You just have to use it Wisely...
God is the creator, not the maintenance man. If you have this talent it was intended for you to use it. Worry less about yourself and concentrate on helping people.
if God gave you this gift then you shouldnt let it go to waste
"Is ANYONE among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith WILL restore the one who is sick, and the Lord WILL raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they WILL be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." (James 5:14-16)
Jesus said to His disciples, "When you enter a town... Heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.'" (Luke 10:9) Jesus tells us to heal the sick before we preach the Good News! Anyone can preach a sermon or give a talk...but only those truly anointed can pray for the sick and see God raise them!
My loved ones, do not put your faith in every spirit, but put them to the test, to see if they are from God: because a great number of false prophets have gone out into the world 1 john4:1
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God in love are the children of God (Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:18, 22).
17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In Jesus name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."MARK 16:17-18 NKJ
So are you bringing glory to God? Are you drawing people closer to Jesus? Who's getting the credit for the healed people?
God works through people but those people are giving all credit & Glory to God.

People nowadays are so indifferent about God in so many ways, most people prefer not to talk about God completely.What do you think is responsible for this?

Do you believe non-religious people, who lead a good life, are still going to hell?One of my biggest frustrations with religion is the idea that, how you live your life is of no consequence if you do not accept god. For example, John Smith is a good christian man who helps people, obeys the law and...

Why can't atheists and believers leave each other alone to not believe or believe?Why is it that atheists (not all, some) continuously question believers about their belief and vice versa; why do believers (not all, some) feel they have to justify their belief? Surely if you don't believe in God...

Where does someone like me, with psychic ability, fit into Christianity? Do you think I am evil?I believe in God & Jesus & God's Holy Spirit. But I was born psychic. I see dead people and I talk to dead people. It is a God-given ability. I help people. Yet I cannot label myself as...

I have always hated the "Got Jesus, better get some or you’re going to hell" speeches with a passion certain religious groups live by. It is not that I don't believe in God, or Christianity, it is just that I believe in a God with common sense. And I can only hope that if there is a God,...
