Can Anyone give me advice for building an underground fort?

    Can Anyone give me advice for building an underground fort?

    I am a 13 year old kid and my cousins and grampa are helping me building it. We have access to a bob cat and shovels. How deep should it be? How Big? Any help helps

    I would urge you to focus on saftey.  I am glad to hear your grandpa is helping that is very cool of him.  You need to make sure you have the proper supports to hold up the walls and keep dirt from falling in on you.  You need a ceiling strong enough to hold the dirt on top as well as anything that might walk or drive over it.  Also do not build in an area where it may flood. 
    Have you ever considred a tree house?  That would be safer.

    ya but there arent any trees anywhere around here. do u know of what supplies we might use. wood or anything like that? or even concrete

    I agree wholeheartedly with John B. Badd, safety must be first.  I don't mean to frighten you but it seems every few years I hear about some poor kid or kids killed in a cave in when the cave or fort they were digging collapsed.  You wouldn't believe how little dirt it takes to immobilize and suffocate you.  A tree fort would be safer.
