    No,it is too light to be meat.Fish is not of the animal nor MAMMAL species. It is the category of seafood,it digest differently.

    If I remember correctly from health class this is a choice. It depends on what type of vegan/vegetarian you want to be. Here is a fantastic article about vegan/vegetarians written by Kerrvg.

    It depends on what kind of vegetarian you are.  If you are a strict vegetarian then yeah, fish is a meat.

    I considered myself a vegetarian for 15 years, but I still ate fish.  However, friends of mine who are vegan are restricted from eating fish, meat or dairy products.
