   Is it better to have a more amount of RAM?
   
   I mean by using more amount of RAM should we face any problems?

   The only "issue" you would run into is wasting money. Your OS only supports a limited amount of RAM. If I remember correctly, Windows Vista 64bit supports 8GB of RAM. Older operating systems are less likely to support as much RAM.

   32 bit versions of Windows, Including most versions of XP and Vista have a limit of 3.5 to 4 GB of RAM. Although more can be installed, it will not do you any good. 64-bit operating systems can benefit from more RAM, but unless you are a hardcore gamer, video editor, 3D animator, or software engineer, you won't have much use for more than 6 GB right now. Having too much RAM can be a problem on a 64-bit system because the computer has to keep track of all that RAM, when it isn't required. The performance loss is minimal, but not worth it if you spent money on it.

   The amount of RAM you use is contingent on your intended uses. If most of what you do is typing, then even a 512 RAM or even less will suffice. If you are fond of games, 2 gigabytes of RAM will be good enough but then this also depends on the kind of game applications you use. If it has intensive graphics involved, a VRAM (or video RAM) may be used. Of course, more RAM means more expense. If you are not contented with the speed of your computer in loading applications, adding a RAM will help speed it up. Overall, the determining factor for speed is the hard disk. But then the speedier the hard disk, the more electricity it consumes.
