Center the sound plays but the picture is solid white. How do I fix this?
Install a codec pack. I usually get mine from "free-codecs.com"
Just install klite codec pack or use VLC media player. They both should help you play any video file.
I tried all of that and it still never worked, so I uninstalled them. I spent about three hours uninstalling various software to see if one of the programs I installed caused to problem. Then I stumbled across the answer searching on Sony's site (my notebook is a Sony). The problem was that under the video and television settings I had "Use the NVIDIA color settings" checked. When I unchecked it, the video showed up fine.

So far, I like what I have seen and heard about the new Windows 7. But what do you think? Is it worth all the hype?I thought that I would like XP, but I don't. Will Windows 7 be the cure?

Is it worth upgrading to Windows 10? 7 is offering a free upgrade. What are the pros/cons?I'm not sure I want to take advantage of the offer. Has anyone tried Windows 10 yet? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm comfortable with Windows 7. Does the latest version provide a better user experience?...

I'm considering buying the upgrade because I am sick and tired of Windows Vista running too slow. On top of that I have problems and am waiting on my mother posting out my Win disk to me (I left it at her house last time I visited - but she's 2000 miles away!)so that I can see if I have damaged win...
