    My mom always used tell me the funniest things . What are some sayings your mom used to say?

    "stop pulling silly faces before your face gets stuck Like that! "

    "keep shaking your head at me Like that and it's gonna fall off! "

    "do not have sex! Boys have diseases and you will die before you have a chance to live your life!"

    Me-" mom I'm so hungry ! I haven't eaten all day"
    Mom -" you don't need to eat! You have enough fat on you to live for weeks! "

    Hi, being from Northern Ireland, I used to hear some gems eg:
    That's a fine doorful of a woman/ man - Larger Lady/ Man.
    She has a tongue that would clip a hedge - Gossip.
    What would you expect out of a pig but a grunt? - Someone swearing.
    That man would talk the teeth out of a saw - Chatterbox.
    Plus dafter ones:
    May you get all your wishes but one so you always have something to strive for.
    Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit
    Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

    These are the ones that spring to mind but there are probaly hundreds.
    Just One more:
    He's got they eyes of a travelling rat - Obserrvant person.
