I remember a little boy named Joey handed me a love note, and I ripped it up and threw it away in front of him. Weird thing is that I'm so nice now that I would never do anything of the sort..but apparently I had a lioness's attitude at the age of 5. smile This is funny enough my only memory of kindergarten.

I am soooo bad. I remember switching classes with my twin sister. I can't believe that young, we knew how to fake people out with our twindom. The teachers never knew, but my twin or I had no idea who the other kids were in the room and just faked it.

A lot of coloring, one math workbook and lots of singing. I also remember dressing up for our Halloween party.

My most vivid memory of kindergarten is being spit on.  My class was sitting in a circle and this boy -- Gordon -- spit on me.  I don't remember why.  Luckily, this was the only time I've been spit on (knock on wood).

Thank you for this great question!  It is odd that i remember SMELLS.  I remember the smell of modeling clay... or crayola crayons... and of oldspice aftershave the hallways smelled like (because the janitor walked the hallways a lot sweeping the floors). That was 50 years ago!

I remember a boy named Bruce who scribbled all over the paper I was coloring.  That night was parent-teacher night and we were coloring the pages to hang up on the wall.  I was mortified, so I scribbled on his paper too... and the teacher put both of them up for all to see.

I remember getting "married" to this boy, Shadoe.  Then he ate a piece of paper and it grossed me out so bad that I never spoke to him again.

Snacktime!  We had special vanilla cookies with pink frosting that we never had at home.  My teacher used to tell us, "If you touch it, then you ake it."

I remember the Show and Tell days. I also remember being yelled at for building a tower taller than my shoulders (a rule during recess). I was mortified because I broke a rule and didn't realize it! I was just so proud of my tall tower...
