   How long does it take to make significant money with google adsense?
   
   I'm average 2 hubs every 3 days, and for the first three weeks am making little. I am a very patient person, but just curious on how much longer I have until I start to see 'real' money.

   You'll probably need more patience.
   "Significant money" will take longer than you may think, but it depends on many factors.
   You won't 'get rich quick', but if it is something you enjoy and if you have some perseverance you will find that that pennies start turning into dollars.
   If I earn a dollar or two a day-- it may sound like a pittance, but $30 to $50 per month is nice for "having fun".
   Those who apply themselves and keep learning, eventually get to the 'serious' level.

   It depends on what you're writing on, how well-targeted your keywords are, and what kind of promotion you're doing. If you're just writing articles and throwing them out into the ether without doing any of your own promotion, they will probably never make very much at all.

   It is not just quantity.........it is also, and probably more importantly , about quality. It is good that you are a very patient person. Keep writing and you may just take this as far as you want to.Good -luck!

   I would say it take years.  (which is much longer than many people expected).   Exactly how many years is hard to say.   A blog on it own might take about 5 years.   On Hubpages, it might take less since you get more traffic on Hubpages due to its social networking features.  (for example, you got an extra bit of traffic by asking this question).  For a stand-alone blog don't have that advantage.
   
   Of course, that's just my opinion.  I can be totally wrong.  Others might know of "ways" to shorten the "years" into "months".  But I personally don't know how.
   
   Oh, and when I say years, I don't mean just write a few Hubs and wait a few years (you won't get much traffic that way either).  I mean actively write for all those years.
