What is no 1 problem which usa faces in today's time according to you?
Debt.
The United States needs to cut spending and pay off debt even if that means cutting from programs that people like.
When you are in debt personally, you need to make sacrifices and do without some things. The country should be the same way. Get out of debt first, then you can begin helping others.
USA Gov't or USA people?
Gov't: Funding stupid things and not funding important things like Education.
People: Reality television and anything else that's making people more ignorant.
CORRUPTION OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES .We spend money on sports while people are going hungry and living on the edge of lifes economic cliffs
foolishness. what i mean is the US seems to not want to admit that their military and last government was a big mistake. it has caused hatred, massive debt and now with the new government, these same folks are trying their best to not support any ideas that they have. it's a shame because i always respected the US for it's patriotism but ...............
Our number one domestic problem is getting out of the recession and reducing unemployment to a more normal level. Once there is light at the end of the recession tunnel it will be important to take steps (combination of cutting expenses and increasing taxes) to balance the budget. Getting health care costs under control will be an essential part of balance the budget. Our number one external problem is bringing the military actions in Afghanistan and Iraq to an end and strengthening our international and domestic efforts to deal with terrorism.
Big Government! Virtually all of society's problems could be solved, except for the complexities created by our enourmous buracracy. No one is responsible, no one is at fault. It takes 30 years to 'discover' Social Security is in trouble. The lies, misrepresentations, and deceptions from our elected representatives are covered by layer upon layer of duplicate and largely uncessary rules and regulations. We have a lawyer for every 300 people in America. Why?
"Studying Wild Blue Monkey's Business - (New York, NY)
$168,766 to study the sexual behavior of wild blue monkeys by analyzing monkey feces in Africa: $170K to study monkey poop? Would your county council representative still have a job if he/she authorized your tax money for this? But is goes un-noticed in a mult-trillion dollar budget. Check this link for many more ridiculous examples: http://coburn.senate.gov/public/index.c … 5eb44e7f18 authored by Senator Coburn.
The US has lost its ability to make things. There is only little production industry left. There are too few Boeings, Intels, Apples and Microsofts around. Plus the Haliburtons are too deep into slippery politics.
The competitive edge is long out of sight. An overvalued currency (the USD used to be safe haven in crisis situations) prevents from participating in the world market.
Production industry creates prosperity. Service industry only distributes the earnings of production.
A corrupt government owned by a greedy big business element and it can not be fixed by anyone up there atm. Since most of them were the cause of our problems to begin with.....

Without a doubt, it is growing debt and out of control spending. Anything else you can name will have to take second place in line because once we bankrupt ourselves, all other problems are simply moot. Too many in the country want to play down this idea and focus on the economy rebounding which they believe will take care of the problem...in its best day it will not. At present, @25% of every tax dollar collected is going for debt service. Our national debt is creeping very close in value to our Gross Domestic Product. We have to reduce cost, spend, and debt, and do it fast if we are to survive as a republic. WB
Our economy is failing by the day. People are suffering, no jobs. And the over-paid politicians argue over everything. I'm not feeling very hopeful.

No we didn't fall off the cliff but the Debt Ceiling Crisis is still looming out there and will have to be dealt with sooner rather than later. I'll bet you this is waking up many politicians including the President in the middle of the night. What do you think?Who do you blame for the Debt Ceiling...

How does the United States of America fix it's economy, lower it's national debt, and leave our children with a country worth living in? What are the core issues, and why is it so difficult to be financially healthy as a nation? Where do we go from here? Can this problem be solved...

If you were King for a day, what elements of of the U.S. Constitution amd its Amendments would you want to see deleted, repealed, added, or mofified to make it fit more to the way the SIGNERS of the Constitution intended it to mean, given their philosophical druthers and not the political realities...

Read an article on MSN that the projected deficit for this year is 1.5 trillion dollars. Makes bush look like a piker with his measly 3-400 billion dollar deficits.Course there will be those that forget that bush is no longer prez and will find a way to blame him.Obama and the Dems own...
