   What do you think about what is happening in Japan?
   
   You'd have to live under a rock to not know about the earthquake and tsunami that has ravaged Japan in the past few days. What do you think about these events, are you sorry for what the country is going through? Share your thoughts.

   My husband just lost a childhood neighbor, so death is local.  When you compound that by thousands as being experienced in Japan it's unbearable to merely think of.  I pray for the bereaved, the trapped, and all affected.  I look forward to contributing financially as it may help somebody.  Also, I thank God for mercy upon me and my family members not to have been in that area.  Thank you, Nikki D.    It is a devastating situation. This morning I sent a text out to my friends and family asking them to pray for the people of Japan and to also ask that God protect the people in Hawaii and California because from Tsunami possibly heading their way.

   I think it's a terrible thing. My heart goes out to the people who have lost lives, loved ones, livelihoods or homes during this awful tragedy. I understand they are still suffering aftershocks too, as well as rising fear over the Fukushima nuclear plant trouble. I wish there was a way I could help more, but all I am able to do is donate money and try to raise awareness.

   It is really sad and tragic to know that  something like this happened again in another country a different one because the same thing happened in haiti and we need to bless god everyday that we are alive and well and live like there is no tommorrow because you may never know what can happen.
   
   My prayers goes out to all of them they really do need it a lot!

   It is a tragedy and my thoughts go out to them all. I feel at times like this we all as a nation should join together and help out those in need. Even if it is only donating a small ammount, every little helps.

   I think it is a really bad idea to build a nuclear power plant in such a vulnerable area.

    I live in the area of Ichinoseki, Iwate, Japan and was actually writing an article on my hub at the time. Though we had to endure some hardship, broken stuff, black outs and dwindling food shortages we still kept our house unlike those who suffered from the tsunami. I have written our experience on my hub. And will write a couple more after that one to explain the black outs and the aftermath.
