What jobs could you make more money at if you were self-employed as opposed to being an employee?
Being self-employed, you are more flexible (and hopefully more disciplined!). I just heard of a seasonal job - summer only - but it pays well, and I could combine it with freelancing. Washing dishes at a restaurant at a tourist location. Pay is surprisingly high for only part-time work.
owning a construction company pays better then working for one if you use your head. my company works a bit different because i have profit sharing so my employees tend to make more then most other companies employees but i still make the most in the end.
There's greater potential to make more money being self-employed in ANY job rather than working for someone else.
If you are good at web design or programmers. They are good option to make money as been self employed. Many companies are search for individuals who are experience in this field.

1. Why do you think society is reverting to more self-employment (home businesses) instead of more jobs? Also, do you think this is progressive or regressive?
