Probably too many.  I think that it beats watching television though - and I prefer it to talking on the phone as well.  Mostly I use facebook. . . .this site and that one are my replacements for myspace, which used to be about the best site on the net, but certainly isn't any more.

I have purposely not joined Twitter because I am already on Facebook way too much.  I would say 2 hours a day, add to that Hubpages, other favorite sites and my email and I am on the computer way too much.

Is it because I am depressed or is it making me depressed---ummm--I don't honestly know.

5 - 10 minutes a day on facebook is must for me. I love the way social networks like facebook, orkut have brought me really close to my friends.

I only have an account in facebook, and I rarely go there. I prefer to join my friends and go out.

Twitter is not the way to go for me. I m busy working the whole day, and as a sailor i have no time to continuously update the time i wake up, brush my teeth, take a dump or going somewhere else etc. I dont find it useful either. But when it comes to facebook, its the only life that i have. No socializing onboard, thats to our company we have internet onboard and now we talk to friends and family. I guess i spend around 4 to 5 hours on the internet, can't say exactly how much on facebook, but quite a lot.

I probably spend a few minutes a day on Facebook.  I check it a couple times a day to see if there is anything new.  Otherwise, I don't spend time playing games and such on it.
