If you work from home, how do you do it? Any sites that help you earn this opportunity everyday?
A great question which I will follow with interest as I too would love to work from home and earn money. I have tried several sites which all promised great things which turned out to be scams.
Sure,I too passed through the inconveniences
Hello: I have been working from home for 13 years now. The site is Elance.

You can see me at this address, just so you can see it's the real deal.

It is a place you can set up a profile outlining your skills and then you bid on different projects that are posted. Before I became disabled, I received the bulk of my work there. It is real and there are many people who find success with it. It's not a scheme, but it's not a get rich quick thing either.
It's a genuine place where people are posting various jobs from data entry, administrative assistance to web design. Some projects are short, some are long. I've had great success.
There are other similar sites such as guru.com, but I've had the most luck with Elance. They seem to be more organized, have a lot of things in place to protect the providers, etc. It's the most professional site.
There are also a lot of companies turning to telecommuting to save money.
Also - if you are crafty, http://www.etsy.com is a good start to putting your work up for sale.
If you are good taking photographs: http://www.istockphoto - you can put your photos up and people buy them as stock photography
If you don't want your work as stock photography, you can go to http://www.artistrising.com and post your work.
I also use http://www.cafepress.com - this site is a place if you have creativity, you can create designs to put on a bunch of different products and they sell it for you. You commission structure is not great, but you can make a go of it.
My site there is http://www.cafepress.com/kittygogocrafts
There are always ways out there and not all of them scams. Keep your eyes open and you may find just what you are looking for!
Warmly,
Jen

I have been browsing many of the articles rating and comparing sites like Elance and oDesk [i know they are merging], and read about many of the likes, and dislikes of each. What i'd love to find out, and share with the rest of the Hub community, is WHAT WOULD YOU IDEALLY LIKE TO SEE IN A FREELANCE...

What does the recent announcement of the Elance and oDesk merger mean to freelancing online? Will this raise the stature of people currently active on those sites by giving them a wider audience?

Now that I have a camera with a half decent resolution I am considering making some of my pics available for microstock sites, I am attracted to the idea of another residual income, even if that income is modest.I would be interested in hearing whether or not anybody else has used microstock sites...

Is there a legitimate online stay at home job?...I can't express how sick of not finding a job making enough to pay childcare, just praying nothing serious happens, and just today learned some bad news and am hoping a job online might help, and despite my degrees and experience, I am now back in...

Any really good online paid survey sites for a 17 year old?I just started looking at and participating in paid, online surveys, but I rarely actually get a survey where I qualify. Most of the time it shuts me out, "Thanks for trying, maybe next time" and all that jazz. What are some...
