How do Biblical literalists fit dinosaurs and mass extinction events into their view of the world?

Your Sciences and Histories know very little ...
Besides, Man came to Be ... around 3 million years ago ... whereas Mass Extinction Phenomenon happened around 650 million years ago ...

Thus, rationally, there can be no "link" between Cockroaches and the Humans ... since both Retain The Ordained, Form to this day ...

Remember ... The Act of Creation ... Transcends Time, Reason and the Rationales of Being ... Science is merely Method and Chronologies.

They simply ignore them. They also deny the proven theory of evolution. The disturbing thing is that their worldview: creationism, is back in the curriculum of some schools in America.

A lot of money is being spent: in America, in an attempt to turn back the clock and reintroduce religious fundamentalism. Centuries of enlightenment are being rolled back and an army of Christian crusaders is being being created to go out to the 'holy lands' of the Bible and kill Muslims in order to sieze their oil.

Religion is the enemy of peace and the denial of truth. Religion is going to drag us all down and destroy our world. When the nukes start falling and cities are being incinerated you will probably here some whacko saying, 'It's all written in the Bible.'

Don't be silly, dinosaurs weren't real.  Jurassic Park was just a movie.  And I heard that Satan planted the fossils just to throw everyone off track and create dissent.  His plan seems to have worked perfectly.

shahid, I love this statement "Your Sciences and Histories know very little ..."

so where do you turn to get your answers...wait, let me guess...from a highly contradictory, and poorly written book that was compiled by bronze age desert dwellers ?

Biblical Literalists or "fundamentalist" are often either . . . .intellectually challenged, or never had an opportunity in life to truly think about those things for any number of reasons.

Almost the entire book of Genesis, if not the ENTIRE book of Genesis - should only ever be interpreted as an allegory.
