    What is the one ingredient you cannot live without at home ?


    I hate not having garlic ( & onions )here as we use it a lot in cooking  especialy garlic prawns !. What do you really miss if you run out at home ?

    I would have to say milk. Everyone in our family is a big milk drinker and we can go through a 4-L in a day easily. We get real grouchy when we don't "got milk."

    Living without quality dark chocolate would be sad indeed.  It's good in so many dishes, and good for us, and it's just plain good.  smile

    Sorry, but I am very fond of garlic and onions. I want it regularly at the time of my meals.

    Garlic, we used everyday without fail for cooking. Of course, the others are onions, carrot and garlic.

    It would have to be salt for me. Sometimes a dash can have a profound effect on flavor.

    Salt. Cannot live without it. There are several things I love to have on hand but I need salt or I go stir crazy. Both my husband and I have salt on just about everything.

    I'm going to have to go with salt.  It's the one thing that makes the most difference.
