For me it would be lipstick with mascara being a close second. I always say if I went on survivor I would get kicked of the boat on the way to the island when they found out my two must bring items were, lipstick and mascara.

Oh, yeah! I HAVE to have some lipstick, and if I was on an island I would MAKE some with some berries. Lol. Of course it wouldn't come off for a month but that's ok. Ha.

Same choice, but I need an eyeliner either. Beautiful eyes and bright lips reveal beauty and hide flaws, so improve confidence.

Mascara and coverup. But I could perhaps switch out coverup for eyeliner. I need both of those! Lipstick or blush I can live without.

Nice Dee, love how you would be creative and use berries...lol

Shanna, at least if you had lipstick you could use it as blush also!

      Yes, blush...good idea.

That's true-- but I forget which book I read it in (I want to say Gone with the Wind)--they just pinched their lips and cheeks and they got instant color!

It's a bit painful.... but I hate the way my eyes look without mascara or eyeliner more than I do colorless lips!

For me it's a lipstick and matte-effect tinted sunscreen.

Where do you find tinted sunscreen? Better yet, tinted sunscreen that's also a moisturizing lotion?

For me, filling in my eyebrows and patting on a little undereye concealer is a must!

For me, it would definitely be an organic lipstick because the natural formulation would mean I could use it as a blusher as well! Like most who have posted here, I love all my various cosmetics but if I had to, I could make do with lipstick as it's pretty easy to make eyeshadows and liners from natural products.

    Nothing at all.

I might wear makeup once or twice a year if I really feel like it. I used to wear it more when I had to give scientific presentations. It acted a bit like a mask to stop me showing the real me to everyone, which made me feel safer. I do not need to that any more.

    eyeliner is my "must" product.

For me it would be Gale Hayman Youth Lift Foundation in Nude and a decent mascara. I'm using Maybelline XXL Pro Mascara at the moment which has one brush that conditions your lashes and the other one colours and builds them up. With mascara it can also double up as eyeliner.

my eye liner, lash curler(i don't have natural curls but i do have long lashes), my lipstick, my compact powder, a small bottle of perfume. They're a "must" i cannot separate from either one nor have one single choice to accompany me. In case i am going to a party with a small clutch then it's be the lipstick.

I could and do manage without any makeup, but moisturizer I couldn't live without.  I wonder who I would be using makeup for, anyway?  probably wouldn't have a mirror.  I also think life would be rather hellish without peanut butter, but that's another subject.  big_smile

I agree with you Mega, I could live without any makeup as long as I have my Olay moisturizer and let me just add on my tint lipstick.

I cannot live without mascara, atleast a wash eye shadow colour, eyeliner and lip balm.

I don't wear cover up or bronzer.  I don't wear much blush but I do own a lot of blushes.  I have roseaca so I have naturally red cheeks.

definitely Mascara, I don't go out of the house without it since my eye lashes are blond and I look like I don't have any eye lashes at all without it.  big_smile

I'm sometimes lazy about putting make-up on, but the one product I always apply before going out is mascara.

Lipstick and compact powder. I feel naked without them, lol;-)

Mascara.  I feel weird without it, even though the last couple of weeks I've been going without it.  I just like the way it makes my eyes look, even if I don't have any other makeup on.

Lipstick for sure, followed in a close second-place by a brown eyeliner that could double-duty as eyebrow touch-ups.

Oh yeah, and sunscreen--highest SPF I can find. Love Neutrogena's 100+--I've got NO tan lines and that much less chance of skin cancer while still having total fun in the sun. Several other high-SPF brands out there--keep experimenting.

The make-up I could go without but I'd have to have with me my Olay complete care moisturiser!

Definitely blush, although I'm not sure why. I put it on even when I don't wear anything else. It's simple to use, and makes me feel put together.

Mascara, definitely. I can wear just mascara and I feel like I look put together.

I wouldn't say I couldn't 'live without' makeup, but I always wear MAC face & body foundation, a translucent foundation that contains lots of emolients that are lovely to your skin.

Oooo, I want some. I hope it's not too expensive and either contains or works with a high SPF. Thanks, Yonder Moon!

And, thanks to everyone in this thread--I've at least doubled my knowledge of makeup. (which isn't saying much, but still)

A lip gloss and a moisturizer to feel on top of the world.
