Terrorism is not something that can be prevented. Politics is like antivirus that needs virus to work and make profit from it. It was always about money, ego and fame... Until someone gets hurt and needs a revenge - politics or terrorist, it doesn't matter. It's in human nature and there will always be someone who will disagree with the world.
The main difference is only in power... someone without power will do one thing... while the other side will do the other.
So the main question is what is right? Terror or War? None of this.
if anything, they promote it. like many countries in that region, religion rules with an iron hand and if terrorism is part of what they are told is needed, they will back it up. creepy.
I think pakistan is doing enough in the war against terror, but has a LOT on its plate right now.
for the war on terror...
allowing america to walk in and out whenever they please.
24,000 people have been killed in pakistan since the drones started going out.
president obama said they would start to end the war on terror yet the second day in power he orders 2 drone attacks in pakistan killing 54 people..
allowing america on pakistani soil created suicide attacks in pakistan are seen every other month. innocent pakistani people are dying every single day because of the war.
next pakistan is at constant war with india ... for the past 60 years the borders have been tense. so we have india on the right and afghanistan on the left, both hating pakistan ... our only ally neighbour is china.
next.
2005 - we had a 7.2 magnitude earthquake ... not sure how many people died in that. relief was still going on 4 years later.
2010 - pakistani flooding - causing just under a quarter of the country being flooded. in this 2.5 million people have been displaced ... relief work is still going on ... the number of dead people is unknown.
electricity - in the capital city we have load shedding or power outages about 2-3 times a day for 1 or 2 hours. in karachi people are surprised when the electric supply is not cut off during a day... normally it's 4-5 hours a day.
how can they run factories and compete in this world without electricity. i've visited places that had 1 hour of electricity followed by 6 hours of power outage... and that was routine for them.
there are a lot of issues going on in pakistan. not just the war on terror. you should consider that too.

Not content with taking their Afghan war into Pakistan without seeking authorisation from the Pakistan government, the US has now decided to extend the Iraq operation into Syria, again without asking Damascus, risking reversing the recent good work of 'diplomatising' Syria. Is their any limit to...

Don't you think Pakistan should be called a "terror sponsor of terrorism" by the United States? There are various proofs of Pakistan officials giving aid and also giving shelter to many terrorists. So don't you think it should be called be a terrorist state?

Who can be so blind as to believe that it could ever end ? Terror and all that we know about it , is eternal , and so the war against it ! Much like the history of war itself . Isn't terrorism simply the weaker opponent's ...

Now that we all have had time to reflect, was the United States war on terrorism valid?Or, did our instant gratification culutre, react to quickly based on emotion and fear?I think American people are easily led by fear and were easily sold on the war on terror like a good beer commercial. ...

Let's face it, if you believe that our large corporations in this nation give a damn about the death of our soldiers, or innocent persons over seas somewhere - you are one delusional person, and I absolutely feel sorry for you.If you fell for the "war on terror" then you fell for that...
