When a question is not answered here, can you ask the same question in the forum?
Yes, you sure can. Getting answers to your questions, either her or on the forums seems to depend on who's on at that particular moment and how much time they have.
You can try the forums and see how you make out!
Absolutely - I would suggest that If you've done a search for similar questions and/or answers you should feel free to ask here or on the forums or if necessary both. Not everybody frequents both so it's definitely a way to reach a wider audience.Forums also have the advantage that people can respond more than once unlike here in the Q & A section.
No; you will be stricken dead by the Ilkin God of Zanforth and cast into the well.
Actually I think you can without offending anyone.
However you might want to stop and look at your question and how you asked it?
Was it really answerable? Did you define exactly what your question is?
As I go through and answer questions I see quite a few that qualify more as statements than questions
As an example; when I lived in China people were often taught "parrot phrases" rather than English. People would come up to me and say something like; "How about Chengdu?"
That is not an answerable question unless you elaborate just what about Chengdu you are speaking of.
Most of the time questions here are answered by someone. But if it is not, and it is a valid question, ask it elsewhere.
It's better to ask a question in the forums, especially if you want to interact or ask a follow-up question. You can also target your question to a more specific area.
Go for it..
Yes there is no problem in doing that, i hope you find your answer!
I'm sure you can. And if it's a question you're really interested in getting a response for, then the forum might be better. If your question is thought to lead to a discussion - like the majority of the most interesting questions do, then HP will remove it and suggest you put it on the forum. Having said all this, the only thing I dislike about the forum are the 'hi-jackers'. That's folks that start there own private discussion within your question, that doesn't follow the topic thread at all - it bugs the life out of me when that happens - they should start their own post if they want to gossip. Anyway, hope this helps a bit.

HI I'm new.. and I think.. that if someone (that isn't a Hub Page Member)visits my Hub page and scrolls to the bottom of my page they can see all the forum activity I have been a part of. I'd rather this info not be available for the world to see... is there a way to "turn off" the...

I read both forum entries and answers/questions entries but the two features seem to overlap. Many of the questions asked in "answers" are technical questions asked by hubbers about HP. Some elicit long threads of answers just like in the forums. Since the "questions/answers"...

When you ask a question, is there a way of 'bumping' it up to the top of the queue again, if it has gone unanswered for 2 weeks?I know you can do that on forum posts, by simply adding another comment....Or, should I slightly re-phrase the question and start over, asking it again?

What are the potentially cons of not using a comment box?I'm tired of answering the same questions over and over again. I'm tired of getting rude comments. I'm tired of dealing with it basically. I want to help people, but answering the same question over and over again or having to defend myself...

Why do atheists, being so logically and rationally minded, insist on going into obvious christian forms and mocking, insulting, and demeaning those who claim God? Why not start your own topics and engage amongst yourselves? Or is scoffing your sole purpose. Jesus warned us about you. 2000 years...
