Are you surprised that the "Super Committee" failed to agree on a solution?
Republicans blame democrats and democrats blame republicans. When will Congress take responsibility for the problems in America. The only thing that remains the same here is that the rich keep getting richer while the poor keep getting poorer. Cut the pay to our elected officials instead of telling the working person they will have to take a cut. Tax everyone at the same rate and eliminate the loopholes. I don't think this is too much to ask since in reality they do work for us.
I don't blame congress as much as I blame the President! He as usual is MIA! Then he gets on TV and within seconds blames the Republicans! I noticed as usual the president did not submit a plan nor get involved! The funniest part that no one has mentioned is Obama saying he will veto any efforts to stop the forced cuts coming as a result of the super comm. non action! There is over 123 billion in Medicare cuts in that package!..................I thought the Republicans were the ones wanting old people to die and starve in the streets???
Not surprised at all...just what we should be used to.
’Let's blame the GOP ‘’ ,so does President Obama and the Democrats. The failure is ALL President Obama’s failure to show up to the party! Wow, why BLAME THE PRESIDENT?
The super committee was made up of equal members of each party who failed to arbitrate an AGREEMENT to present to the President (3rd party ). President Obama was AWOL in the final days of the debate and in addition of not providing his leadership to wrap up a deal to solve the problems. Shameful neglect of his duties as the President.
Today, Nov.22, 2011 while campaigning in New Hampshire , President Barack Obama again blamed the Republicans for the failure of the Super Committee , forgetting to place any blame on members of his own party. One can recall some of Obama’s past words ,’’ THE BUCK STOPS HERE’’. Somehow one can see through him and who he really has become. Remember these words, ‘’ you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can’t fool all the people all the time’’.
The Democrats have had 2/3's control of the government since 2007.In 2009 and 2010, the President and the Democrats had 100% control, so why is President Obama and the Democrats complaining about the Republicans?
No one should be suprised. Just remember that your tax dollars pay handsome salaries and benefits to these people so that they MAKE DECISIONS for us. Why the hell are we paying them? You cannot blame any particular party because neither one has done anything for the nation's betterment; at least not in my lifetime. As Governor Jesse Ventura said, "The two-party system is fantastic. We get one more choice than Communist Russia."
Profoundly not. It was an unlikely shot in the first place, and foundered on the well-charted rocks of partisanship.
