    Abusive language

If a hubber use bad and abusive language in a comment on your hub.what will be your response?.And what are the rules and regulations of hub pages community regarding about  using abusive language.?

Of course, it is not permitted. However, it would depends on how abusive the words are. At times, what my country men speak could hurt others but it doesn't mean that we meant it. it could just because we are used to it.

So, yes we can flag them first and let the moderators do their part smile

Yeah, I flag it for general awareness. I think you can write a funny and insightful hub without using curse words.

Abusive language is not permitted in HP. I would flag it for the moderators to see. Making a point can be done without using foul or abusive language.

Profanity and abusive comments are never acceptable behaviour at any time, especially if put in print on Hub Pages. If this is done in a comment on one of your Hubs, you have the right to delete the comment. If it is done in the answers section or the Forum you should report it.

You can put that on your own website. I think the average person who swears quite often has a limited vocabulary. People who swear every 30 seconds might think they're 'edgy' when it is no reflection of any kind of strength.

I would just deny the comment if it was really bad.

I think it would depend on whether the abusive language was directed at me or another hubber on a personal level. Then I would report the matter. If the hubber was just commenting in general and not directing the abusive language at anyone, just using it in conversation, then It wouldn't bother me.

I would probably delete bad or abusive language that were comments on my hub.  It's my hub, and I decide what gets to be on it.
