I,m glad that you asked this question, because you bring up a subject that I wanted raised.
For the past few months my adsense revenue seems to have went "down the toilet", and this month I have not earned even one penny from it. This is despite the fact that I am getting more traffic to my hubs. I only need about £2.50 to reach the £60 payment threshold, but at this rate, I will never reach it.
The culprit may be the HubPages ads. They seem to be going all right, but they really killed of adsense as a source of revenue on HubPages.
@christopher - If you need just that much why don't you turn off HP ads till you reach the payment threshold and then switch back to HP as they pay more - for most ppl.
Arjuncool: If you log out of hubpages and go to their main landing page there is a success story blurb that has a link which will take you to some very informative financial information about the top earners here. Some people make over $4K a month. That is going to be hard to do with only 8 hubs and 1 follower. If you are looking for ways to increase your revenue here then you will need to increase both the number of hubs and the number of followers. There is a lot of information on how to do both that can be found if you click the forum tab at the top of this page and go to the learning center.
christooheranton: Most of my hubs were written for the hubpage audience and this month they out shopping... The hubs that are doing really well for me this month are the ones that were written using keyword and SEO, etc. Most of my hubs are not written to sell but to be read. I asked the question a while back if Dec was the official Do Not Read Hubs month, and was not surprised to find that readership drops off in both Nov and Dec....unless you have a lot of followers. So while I was use to about 200 views per day I am lucky some days to get 30 views. That of course has had an impact on adsense revenue. However, the hubs that were written this month were written for the larger Google audience and those are performing well.
Because this is a question and not a forum post... we are only allowed answer this question once.
cheers! dnm
Hmmmm, can you earn zero? :-) Luckily I don't rely on hubpages for income.

I used to use the revenue to pay bills, but am now living back at home with my parents so my bills are much smaller. I plan on using my revenue to move to California where I can get a higher paying job and hopefully have more time to produce more hubs. It'll take a bit of money to do that so I've...

Let me be honest with you, I joined Hubpages in the hope that I will be able to earn some extra income to supplement my college expenses. I know there is no such thing as easy money and I shouldn't expect to live off my earnings on hubpages. But, If I get a good number of my hubs featured, how much...

I've been on HubPages now for about 10 months and it took that long to generate 100.00, but since I hit my 100th hub or so my monthly revenue has gone up about 30.00 a month and I'm starting to see some decent change rolling in now.. seems a snowball effect happens when you get enough chump change...
