   Do you write high quality hubs with great content?
   
   Do you just jump into hub writing for making high numbers, stats, money, or do you care about the overall quality of your hubs your submitting daily, weekly, monthly, yearly?

   I write hubs when I care about the topic. I find if you care about the topic, you have the best chance of having a hub with overall quality. I check my hubs but by no means are they perfect. I am always open to criticism. I think caring about your hubs and allowing yourself to be criticized ultimately leads to hubs with great content, as you say.

   I'm old school journalism, and although I am slowing learning about Google and stats, I can tell you right now that it does not interest me.  I don't write because the Google keyword tool tells me that my writing will bring in all kinds of "hits".  I don't care.  I write because I want to write.  If you really want to know, Google and money before the writing takes the fun out of writing for me.  I can understand if a person is just starting out right now and wants to make some online money.  But my writing dates back to the 70s, when the editor was nearby, and you could walk into the office and ask why she hacked up your writing like she did.  Or you could share a cup of coffee and discuss how the writing is going.  I miss that.  I don't put a lot of time into my Hubs.  I don't agonize over them like I would do over a novel.  Once they're published, I'm already working on the next one.  Gone are the days when I worked against deadlines.  Online writing is different, but it's not my #1 cup of tea.  But at the same time, I roll with it.

   I like to think that I'm writing quality hubs. Whether or not their subject matter (mainly heavy metal music and horror movies) constitutes "great content" or not is in the eye of the beholder, I guess, but hey, *I'M* proud of 'em and that's what should matter most, right?
   
   I never write a hub thinking "Oh boy, this one is gonna get tons of hits!"... in fact, if one of my Hubs *does* happen to get a ton of hits, I'm just as surprised as anybody. I'm not here trying to get rich, I'm just having fun writing about stuff that interests me (and hopefully, some other people).

   I'd like to think that my Hubs are of good quality. I spend a lot of time planning, writing and editing them so that they'd be interesting and helpful to my readers. I normally write about topics that I know about, or that I can do some research on if I'm not sure about an area of it.
   Plus, I'm looking at writing hubs as a learning experience.

   As per today, I only write when I have the feeling that I have something to say that will bring a benefit to the reader. The quality of my hubs is really important to me.

   I try really hard to make sure that my hubs that are well written, informative, and fact checked for accuracy. I also check my for grammar and spelling, however, mistakes do slip by me sometimes. I pride myself on quality hubs.
