How Can Doctors Take Back the Authority over Insurance Companies?
They can stop accepting insurance and start accepting cash payments or other forms of payment. The problem here is that the population is tied to the NEED for insurance, and the NEED for medical care. While the doctors are tied to the NEED to be paid larger sums of money then most of the population has and they NEED to paid consistently. To change the authority relationship, either the population or the doctors need to adjust their NEEDs so that neither is dependent up on insurance....
I certainly wish I had that answer and I am sure my son's pediatrician does, too.
The poor man and his entire staff, who have known my son since he was a tiny baby, seemed immensely frustrated by this mess. I wasn't even able to be angry at them because they were trying so hard to make things easier on us.
Doctors should always, in my opinon, be heard over the voices of the insurance companies. We are lucky to have a doctor who truly cares for his patients and doesn't simply look at them as a paycheck.
I've recently written letters to our state representatives. I'm not sure what good it will do, but I'm unwilling to just let the issue die. My son is not the only person slipping through the cracks in this large, difficult to navigate, system. Something has to give because people are suffering and it's unacceptable.
Stop paying the exorbitant insurance fees and pay them to yourself instead. Then use that money to pay your doctors and drug bills. Even hospitals will negotiate with you for a cash payment.
The insurance companies are selling FEAR. They make you afraid to face your ability to pay for health care. The truth is that medical bills are cheaper than most insurance premiums. What a scam they are running.
Investigate your insurance company and find out how much the executives make in bonuses alone. One exec I know of got a 45 MILLION dollar bonus last year. Do you know any doctors that make that much money? I doubt it.
The insurance company pays these bonuses with the money they refuse to pay to the people who are supposed to be paid by insurance benefits. They are truly evil middle men. Eliminate them!

How does free will explain or justify the existence of evil? Many Christians have told me that evil is a necessary byproduct of having free will. This doesn't seem to be true to me, given the following thoughts:1. If free will exists in heaven, and evil does not, it is possible to have free...

Please pray for us. My husband has been out of work for several months. We are losing our home due to this situation but also due to the unrighteous antics of my ex husband.
