   Probably not.  Different cultures do have different tastes when it comes to what animals they eat. 
   
   However, I would suggest that this throws open an interesting question.  If it were legal would you be able to kill anyone and eat them, or would there be speciifc classes of people designated as potential 'food'?

   I think not. Because if the law were changed to make it legal for me to eat someone, then it would be ok for somebody to eat me. I'm not certain if the law forbids cannibalism if the meal dies a natural death. After death we are just a collection of flesh, bones, and blood, like all other animals. So what is there for the law to forbid?

   Ethical, moral, and lawful issues aside, it depends what the person died of.  Surely there would be an associated risk of infection?  As well as this, I think you'd have tp consider the possibility of new illnesses brought up by it, in the same way that mad cow disease came about.  Finally, it's a pretty poor evolutionary strategy, so I probably wouldn't on those grounds.

   No I wouldn't however it may be the cure for all the land we take up by burying people. Maybe if it was regulated so bodies were put into freezers they could then pass the butchered meat out to give to people who have no food. It could be just like organ donation where people sign up for it. I think I would be happy to know that my body was used to feed the starving. If it were legal I wouldn't think there would be anything moraly wrong with it as long as people weren't killing people to eat them.

   I've never been in a situation where hunger would force me to do that.  From that perspective, I would say no, I would not and could not do that.  I might change my mind if I was starving, I don't really know.

   Certainly not. There is a tremendous energy loss between the levels of the food chain. If you start with plants as 100% energy, something that eats the plant (an herbivore) will burn 90% of that (see diagram in the link). Something that eats the herbivore receives 10% of that energy, which THEY will burn 90% of. By the time a human eats an animal (lets say a cow, which is lower on a food chain than, for example, a tiger), there is still a tremendous energy loss, but still enough to sustain a human.
   
   This is a very compelling reason to eat plants, fruits and nuts in addition to meat. This is also why vegans and vegetarians claim to be so much healthier. Whatever.
   
   Anyway, if you ate a human, you're getting a fraction of a fraction of the energy content, as we're at the top of the food chain. It's also why we don't eat predator animals like wolves or lions. You can't sustain yourself for long with that kind of diet.

   No, I could never be a cannibal, and the reason why is, "we are what we eat."
   
   Keeping that in mind, I would not want to hazard the chance of eating the flesh of some serial killer or child molester.

    No. Cannibalism is always associated with murder.Murder is always a crime. Nobody wants to be eat and be eaten.

    I'm a vegetarian.  That said, in survival situations anything is game.  Maybe.  I don't really know, but I've read lots of survival books that involve cannibalism, and it's one of those things where "you really don't know until it happens."  So voluntary, no; survival, maybe.

    I will NEVER DO it. Imagine eating your partner, eating your child or eating your loved ones. Can you afford it? No sane people will do that ever. and I am sure it will never become legal.
