   Do you reply to comments on your hubs and if yes, why and if not, why not?
   
   While I don't think it is a requirement to respond to comments on one's hubs, I do know that doing so improves one's hub scores and accolades. Do you always, rarely, or never respond to the comments left by other hubbers on your hubs?

   I always reply to comments. I feel it is terribly rude not to. This person is giving you valuable time and insight, to read and comment on your work and if you don't bother to answer them, why should they bother to read.

   Yes it helps promote responses in your comments and adds to the amount of people that see your work. Also shows you keep up with questions, comments, and concerns. I highly recommend staying active

   I respond because I really appreciate someone not only taking the time to read my work, but also comment.  I try to reply to all of my comments and I will then go and read one of their hubs, and comment.  I found some wonderful pieces by doing this and some great writers to follow.

   I agree with Becky about feeling it's rude not to reply to comments. I usually forget about the hub scores and the accolades, I'm basically interested in the contact with whoever left the comment, it's such fun to write back and forth, good company too!

   I always do, because those people have taken the time to comment on my hub, so its just good manners to reply. It shows that you care about what they have to say, regardless of whether it is positive or negative.

   Yes. I enjoy replying because I believe it is interesting to see what they will say next.

   I usually try to reply because I really appreciate when anyone takes the time to read something I've written. And one of my main motivations for joining hubpages was to get valuable feedback on my writing.

   I usually reply because it's polite, and I appreciate the input.
   
   Occasionally, I don't have anything to say in response, but that's rare
