What is a "fair share?" In the current political discourse the term "fair share" is used a lot.
I hear that the "rich" should pay their "fair share" but I have not heard a definition of what that is.Are others paying a fair share? It seems there should be a standard for what constitutes it.
Presently, it is a nice fluffy word that just sounds soooooooooooo good to use.
I mean, who can argue about the need for something that JUST SOUNDS ..... SO FAIR?
Now when someone puts some roots on this balloon full of air, maybe we can get it to stand still long enough for a serious inspection and commentary.
i learned that when you become an adult that the word Fair No longer has meaning. That there is no such thing as Fair. Its something that Children believe in.
Whats fair in life? is it fair that your neighbor gets a new car and you can't afford one? You get what you work for. The word "fair' does not apply in life. Nothing can ever be "Fair" no mater what it is someone will complain. Its not Fair.

I haven't heard any politician or political operative ever answer the question of what is the `fair share' of taxes that they think the wealthy should pay. No one ever says. We just get the Buffet argument. Quickly willing to define what isn't a fair share, but only a hmm . . . when asked about...

For the purposes of this discussion, let's assume that I am part of the 1%. What percentage of my income do you feel is my "fair share", and how did you come up with that number?

What does it really mean to be politically incorrect?...Question mark with ellipsis. I hear people saying they're politically incorrect individuals - they are rude, inpolite, pugnacious and disrespectful. 400 years ago, most people were polite and respectful, so if you were the opposite...

http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/03/ … minor.htmlSo this is how the democrats want to govern by running away to hide rather than do their job! Is this proper behaviour for elected officials? What if both parties do this? Nothing will ever get done! This is the character of the left,...
