What do you remember listening to your first favorite music with, radio, ipod, CD, or other?

I remember listening in our old car when I was little, My brother used to love singing Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons songs! That was the good ole days!

Radio!  Lou Reed of the Velvet Underground, once said that, "Music is like gold.  Everyone should have two radios in case one gets broken".  When I was growing up, the radio was always on in our house.  As I moved to be on my own, I quickly tuned into my favorite station and my world was always brighter and easier to handle!

When I listen to my oldies music, I experience flashbacks to "the good old days"... and get all melancholy......

Your question makes me nostalgic! My daddy had this huge console stereo, and I remember how proud I was when I was tall enough to use the record player and he showed me how. I was always extra careful, because he said if the records got scratched, we couldn't listen to them anymore. This was the mid-seventies, and his records were some of the best ever made: Janis Joplin, The Doors, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones. I've always known where I got my love of music!

I also remember riding back from Petersburg, VA with my mother and hearing the Paul McCartney/Wings song 'Silly Love Song." She'd just found out that I was going to get a little brother or sister! Whenever I hear it now, I remember that drive.

I'm even older.  My parents used to listen to 78's.  And also my dad loved country and pop music so we listened to KFWB from Los Angeles on the radio.
