When hub hopping do you read hubs with terrible grammer and spelling?

    When hub hopping do you read hubs with terrible grammer and spelling?

    I find that I enjoy hub hopping, but I hate that many have terrible grammer and spelling. My personal pet peeve is not using a capital I or spacing after punctuation. I am not great in either of this areas, but I do spell check and proof read before publishing. I often find I skip these hubs, or vote them down.

    Well the intent of the hopper is that you flag those hubs for moderation.

    what i do if i see a poorly written hub...i vote down and leave comments on the hub...if the owner doesn't correct it....with time....the hubs course will drop and no one will read it

    grammar wink and yes I do read them because we all make mistakes.  Also, many here do not have English as their first language, but they still have valuable knowledge to share.  Some are harder to read than others, but I try to make my judgments based on the content and intent of the hub. If it is truly bad and makes no sense then I flag and move on.

    I do read those hubs, at least part way through.  And as mentioned, I do flag them if they are very bad.  That can bring down the quality of the site and that's not good for anybody.  It is definitely a pet peeve of mine as well.  I'm not perfect or anything, but if it's full of errors, I flag it.
