What has been your favourite holiday destination ever?

Please name country and activities! A general price range would be very useful too, thank you.

My favorite, is always the trips my family takes to the beach in Rhode Island (USA) every year! I wouldn't really say it's exotic enough a trip to take from over seas, but it holds so many dear memories for me and my family.  My grandparents rent a house each year (most rent for anywhere from $800-2000USD per week, and can sleep 6 or more people).  We spend our days at the beach, then in the evenings we swim some more, as well as fish, clam, crab etc. in the pond behind the house they rent.  There's also lots of area attractions such as Watch Hill which is a great little oldfashioned downtown w/ cute boutiques and a wonderful ice cream parlor; a few boardwalk/amusement type places which are fun for children, lots of seafood and fresh restaurants, and the famous Newport as well as Mystic, CT are both very close to where we stay in Westerly, RI.  If you like gambling there is also Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort Casinos close by.

My favourite is Brazil because I can enjoy the weather on the beach as it is near my country. But I'd like to visit places such as Japan, Singapur, so on, places with different culture scenes.

West Virginia by far!!! There is something for everyone, plus a great beach! Sorry I was too young to pay attention to prices.

It has to be Yosemite in California. Seeing that beauty leaves me breathless. I can't  imagine a place more beautiful, not just the sights, the sounds of birds, waterfalls and the wind in the trees. The smell of the trees, fresh air, and earthy soil. It makes you feel small and insignificant and you put your problems behind you when you realize, we are just passing through and beauty like this goes on.

Exploring the different places in the Garden Route, South Africa was amazing. There are beaches that run for miles, lush green forests to walk/hike through, scenic views almost everywhere you look, top quality food and accommodation, and plenty of animals to see. I can't wait to go back!
