Aliens like us | Do you believe that there are aliens like us, humans ?

The Universe is so, so huge that it is impossible to know every corner about it. Our Galaxy Milky Way is also a very, very big place. Is it possible to have alien creatures like us exist somewhere in this galaxy or even outside our galaxy?
Do you think they will be like us?
That means they will resemble humans in shape, believes and intelligence. Do you believe so?

Think about this...our galaxy is larger than our minds can conceive.   There are over one hundred Billion galaxies that we know of.  How can we possibly be the only galaxie and only planet to have a human or something equivilent to human?

really, remember the remake of the "Body Snatchers" - it was a plant, or a microbe, that's what's alien means "unlike us". Which would be a good thing, because if they were anything like us, we already be colonized and sucked of all our resources.

    Hey Pinappu.

This is just my kinda question! I'm glad you asked it.

From my position up here on this tall fence, I am open to the idea that there ARE human-like aliens out there somewhere. In fact, I believe that it is possible that these human-like aliens have already visited us here on our cute little blue gem which they find adorable no doubt.

Look at the history of the many different civilizations on our planet, from the Mayans to the Egyptians. All the literature and art they have left behind speaks of HUMAN-LIKE beings coming down from the sky in flying machines to be worshiped by us as gods.

Maybe they weren't gods but aliens that resembled humans?

Why don't you write a hub on it? There are thousands of people out there looking for the answers to questions like these, for fun and to satisfy curiosity.

I recently wrote a hub on aliens on the moon. Take a look if you like. Perhaps these human-like aliens are on the dark side of the moon?

Keep on exploring and asking questions.

    Peace

Anything is possible. Our knowledge of the entire universe is still not 100% explore. So we may not know of the existence beyond earth.

Living on earth and believe in spirits, existence of aliens can be true as well. They may not be aliens though we call them as that since they may have the same DNA as us.

Short answer, No, I do not believe there are aliens "like us."

I think the notion of a humanoid-like alien is the result of a basic human egotism.  Look at it this way.  We are only ONE species of MILLIONS to have existed on this earth over the course of time.  We may dominate this planet in many ways, only for a relatively short time in the grand scheme of things.  But it is vane to believe if there are aliens out there somewhere they have evolved on their planet over the course of several millennia to look anything like humans on this planet.

That is not to say I don't believe in life, INTELLIGENT life, on some distant planet.  What would they look like?  That would depend on many factors, but I would begin by examining the life forms that have endured through the ages on this planet.  What life forms survived the extremes in temperature over the ages?  What type of life form would survive, say, a thinner atmosphere?

When you look at it that way, we are fortunate to be here!  I'm going to have a hard time falling asleep tonight!

Humans are capable of surviving in any atmosphere. Now that we exist, we are not simply going to die out. In my perspective it would be egotistical to believe that we are the only humans in the universe. What if we are the image of another's likeness

Based on the known facts of what we do know about intelligent animals, and that the most intelligent creatures on this planet are human then the chance of other intelligent life in the universe being in our image and likeness is probable. The chance is more so probable as NASA estimates that most galaxies look like ours and that out of all of our galaxy's star systems, 14% of all planets are the same size as Earth. Essentially, if there are any non binary star systems with planets the approximate size as earth, then the intelligent life will look more human than not.
