   What do you all think of The Hunger Games book?
   
   Okay so I just bought the first book of The Hunger Games trilogy but haven't started reading it yet ( so no spoilers) and I was wondering what the general vibe was about the book xx

   It's very good.  A little strange and different, as well as sad and exciting.  It had a lot of different elements. I thought there was a bit too much hype over it at first, but I ended up reading it and really enjoyed it.  There were points, mostly towards the middle and end, that I didn't want to stop reading it.

   The book completely surprised me as it is different than anything I've read.  It remains one of my all time favorite books and I have read it 3 times.  The sequels are very good as well.

   I enjoyed them all, and the movie. I was surprised since young adult fiction is not my favorite genre. I strongly disagree with the comparisons between this series and twilight. The story is a great one, set in an interesting environment, and not dependent on the romance to carry it. Amazing writing.

   I would say, don't wait to read it. And set aside the next three days of your life, because you will be so wrapped in the book, you won't be able to set it down. I was like this too, as you can see by my name and profile pic. I highly recomend you to read this series. You will become a super fan, or tribute as we are called.

      I have now read all three books and can totally agree with you because they are fabulous Suzanne collins style of writing just captivated me from the beginning and i am now suggesting it to my friends. Thank you so much for your comment xx
