Should Fifty Shades of Grey be a movie?

Fifty Shades of Grey has topped best-seller lists not just in the United Kingdom but around the world. The series has sold around ten million copies worldwide, with book rights having been sold in 37 countries, and set the record in the UK as the fastest-selling paperback of all time surpassing the Harry Potter series. So it must be a movie. It will make a lot of money and the author of the book E.L. James will become more famous.

its not about the popularity, but the story's contents.

It can be released in other way like without releasing in the theaters , that is, keeping it unrated.

I suppose there are actors whose careers deserve to be wrecked.

I don't think it should be a movie. The only way that this book could be made into a movie would be as porn! The story has no real content, just sex.

I hope not.  I bought the book because it was on the Bestsellers List, but personally did not like it.  I wouldn't read any others from the series.  It was all about obusive sex and had little real story.  Also the characters were not likeable.
