   To Rank Better After Google's Panda Update Should Underperforming Hubs Be Deleted?
   
   I understand that one of the main things Google tells webmasters that want their sites to do well after the Panda Update changes, is to get rid of low quality content.  Does that mean deleting underperforming Hubs that rarely are viewed will help our HubPages domain in Google, or is Google more concerned with well written content rather than popular content?

   Google doesn't know whats well written and whats a load of bologna. Remember, google bots script your page for various details that are:
   
   -Keywords
   -Word Count
   -Backlinks
   -Popularity by Visitors
   
   You can't explain to a spiderbot that this is well written or not, its just the facts it takes from the page. No human symphony at all.
   
   Sometimes rewriting the page or editing it helps out. I do know for a fact age of a URL is counted, and I'd rather have a zero view URL getting older then rewrite it or change it then to throw that away and start brand new - you know, unless your Aladdin then a whole new world might help you out better.

   I copy and paste underperforming hubs, and put them onto one of my blogger blogs.  I don't much like the idea of wasting something I spent any amount of time on.  So don't waste your work!

   Each hub that you right is a page in its own right.  A robot does visit that hub and looks for certain information such as your keywords and lsi related words. Many people use Hubpages just for links back to their main site and not to get them ranked as individual hubs.  So my answer would be that if you are using Hubs for links then I wouldn't worry too much about content.  That said they should provide some value otherwise why would anyone read them and click through the links back to your site?
   If you are writing them as individual hubs with a view to making money then you should product high quality hubs with great content that people would like to read and you will be rewarded for that.
   
   Depending on what you are using hubs for then determines the standard you want to reach and I prefer to do high quality unique work.  I also had some old hubs and I visited them and refreshed them all with good unique content and my earnings have gone up as a result.  I would recommend that you do the same.
