    Tyler Durden because he stood for something and that was everything everybody else stood against. He was not a good role model in what he did, but in how he refused to conform..

    Nice plug AaronHubb. I too, love Mr. Durden (hence the avatar), but since he is also a character in a novel I can't choose him. My favorite movie character has to be Trip McKneely from Can't Hardly Wait. He's awesome!

      Crap, we can't choose novel-based movie characters!? That's like all of my favorite movies! lol Um, I guess, the only other pick I have could be......crap, I can't answer this question now. lol

    Carlitos Brigante from Carlitos way. I like him because he tries to go straight but his circumstances will not let him.

    I love Mel Gibson in Tequila Sunrise. His character was in tough situations and forced into close contact with a woman he loved/hated.

    At the same time he was being manipulated by an enemy he thought was his best friend. 

    I really enjoyed the characters tensions and resolutions.
