If you could only be known for one thing at HubPages, what would you like it to be?
For me, I would like to be known for my encouraging words. I try to motivate other Hubbers in both my hubs and comments. What about you?
I would like to be known for answering questions. I feel like I have a lot of good advice about a variety of topics.
I want to be the rock chick, the one that knows everything there is to know about rock and roll!
You are welcome to read my last hub called Fairy in fun forest - a short story. Thank you ChristyWrites
I would like to be known for writing high quality technology articles that are both informative and accessible. I love technology and I love writing. I understand that technology can be boring for a lot of people. Some people see it as geeky. I want to try to write in way that helps the average person become interested in technology. I want to change the way people view technology.
That's an important topic and it interests me too. I wish you much success with your goal!
@ChristyWrites, thanks for the encouragement. As you can see I am new to HubPages so I find your encouragement very helpful to me.
I think would like to be known as helpful. I enjoy answering questions people leave in comments and email me too. Many of them are SEO and HTML related since I have experience in those areas and have written about them, and it makes me really happy when I see someone follow the advice or technique I have explained to them.
I know just what you mean. It's a great feeling to be able to share what you have learned and then see them utilizing that info. Great answer
I wanna be the "go-to" guy for info on forgotten heavy metal bands and bad "B" movies.
Right on, sounds like Georgie is increasing your motivation even more!
I just don't know... I'm still suffering from multiple topic disorder, I can't choose just one.
LOL I think a lot of people are suffering from that
Like Sherry, I too am suffering from multiple topic disorder! I've not long been a member of Hub pages and at the moment seem to be a Jack of all trades and master of none. I do like to write 'How to's' on subjects that interest me and I have a certain knowledge of! I tend to lack an efficient concentration span and often lose interest in a subject...
I would most like to be known for my trek through the metaphysical. The how and why of life, the exploration of meaning. If I had to be known for one thing, that would definitely be it.
That is a unique vision and I wish you the best here
I have a number of different interests and, as I haven't been with Hubpages for very long, I haven't really been able to focus on one in particular yet. But, to be honest, I'm not sure if I want to just focus on one interest - I don't want to feel creatively stifled and I think (I hope!) that I can give advice and knowledge on a number of different things, and I would like to be able to help as many people as possible, not just people who are interested in the one thing that I might (eventually!) settle on.
I think I would like to be known as someone who writes interesting, creative and helpful Hubs on a number of different issues, who is helpful and friendly around the community, and who can be approached by anyone who thinks that I might be able to help them.
Those are admirable attributes to be known for Rebecca. As for specializing in what you write, there is no hurry

Many of us met HP by chance. Many of us came here looking for a way to earn and many of us came to express ourselves. For me it was a mixture of both.I wanted to make money with the thing I love to do the best...writing. However, there are some things I wish I knew back then. What is the one thing...

I noticed a hubber who has been on hubpages for 3 years, has 1 hub and a hub profile of 92?I know that the arcane arts of hub-scoring is a closely guarded secret but this has to be an anomaly doesn't it. So 1 hub which had a hub-score of 66 and this hubbers profile is on 92?Does anyone want to try...

How in the world do people get so many hits/ readers/ comments/ followers? I figure these folks must be really dedicated and do a lot of reading. Either that or they must be claiming to be "following" a plethora of randomly selected hubbers that they don't even particularly...

I had typed this hub. I knew it required a lot of finesse so as not to make it appear cheap. Just when I was all immersed into it, I got this message that the ads would be disabled if I published the hub.It hurt me very badly. I deleted it at once. But today, I feel that I do need to express my...

My passion for hubbing is going down each day. This may be due to the falling traffic and less earnings. So far I wrote 119 hubs and all are featured. I have nearly 400K hits too. I have been here since March 2012 and had a wonderful association and activities here as well. Can I...
