   How do you feel about Wednesday?
   
   Halfway through the work week for most of us, and called hump day at that, Wednesday seems somewhat ambiguous to me.  What's your feeling about the day?

   It is an ok day. I'm used to the weekday's so it's a little common, boring, what I'm used to. Not as bad as Monday, Thursday, or Friday.

      What about Tuesdays (you left them out of the bad days)?  Is there something really wonderful on that day?

      It's not wonderful. It is a focus day where I wake up entirely ready for what is to come.

   I'm not a fan of Wednesday.  It's trash day where I live.  WORSE, every two weeks it's recycling pick-up AND trash day.  Other than that, Wednesday's fine as far I'm concerned.
   
   I tend to like the routine of the business week; so I like Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday best.  Thursday - I don't like much, but mostly because I don't like it's name; of else because it's (for me) a transition between "no-nonsense business week" to Friday (which - no matter how much we tend to pretend Friday is a best day, let's face it; we can tend to be in a Friday fame-of-mind (which is SO not a M-W frame-of-mind).  So for me, there's really only a three-day business week in which I'm not thinking about what's coming the next day.
   
   I don't dislike weekends, by any means (well, in some ways I kind of actually do).  It's just that trying to squeeze in x amount of stuff into such a limited amount of time can mean weekends don't always have much of a system (or if they do that system has to be thrown off sometimes; and other times, stuff "has to go" that one didn't really want to have to let go.  So weekends can, in their own way, be kind of unsatisfying (particularly to the person who, for example, "insists" on socializing instead of doing what she really ought to be doing on a weekend    (lol)   )
   
   In any case, if it weren't for the trash-day thing (and that recycling thing), I'd pretty much like Wednesday as well as I like Monday and Tuesday.

   I love Wednesday. It is mid-week and  referred to as "hump day" because, once you get past it, the weekend is clearly in sight!!  I've always enjoyed the name and the way that it is spelled too- an added bonus

      Shortened from Woden's day...the Norse pagan "All-father."  Although, he wasn't really everyones father.
