   I tend to believe it is not true.  For better or for worse, one very real reason is that some people live lives that end up being quite sheltered and local.  There really is no story to their story but for the personality they give to their town or whatever.
   
   That, and there are some very severely and multiply disabled children with whom I work - and they are absolute blessings - kisses from God.  Not a dark secret to be had among the lot of 'em!

   Yes, this is the easiest way to intimidate yourself and hold yourself back. 
   
   At the deepest level it is the fear of loss of love....
   
   Only the fearless dare to expose themselves, completely, naked and vulnerable.
   
   Only the fearless can love truly so at the deepest level, only the fearless dare to love completely.
   
   Perhaps when one has overcome the fear he will find that the dark secret was no more than a phantom....that the power he is giving the secret is not worth the discovery that he can be loved, unconditionally..
   
   I do not know if this makes sense..usually, when I answer a question, I just type what comes..

   Some people can't hide a thing. I am one of them. I make sure to not do things that are deep, dark and bad for that reason. I cannot hide anything. I am too open and honest.

   I do not know how to answer this one. What famous quote are we referring to? Some famous quote are true, others are not. It depends on the quote. If I knew more about where we are to go with this one I would write more. Take care.

   Unless you are talking about saints, yes everyone has something to hide. It may not be illegal or immoral thing but probably most people wont like to know about their secret desires or thoughts which can be real black in colour. Ofcourse most of us has at one point or other has done something really foolish in life and dont want people to know that.

    Sometimes yes, and sometimes no. Some people are open books, they tell  one everything, to at least one person. It just makes sense to them. Therefore, they would not have any dark secrets that were not told. Then again, not everyone is like that.
